About the webinar
In the world of school security consulting, it is often common practice to spend a week or two with a school, provide a solid plan for security/safety improvements, and move on to the next school. The frustration on the part of this sector of security professionals is the misperception that their contributions are less valuable than they really were. This problem exists because often the schools lack the time and and/or expertise to proceed with implementing the plan.

Learn about Safe School Standards and how their implementation allows for the identification of what is working, what may not be working well enough, training, measurement, and how embedded standards can insure the value of a security consultant's services.

About the speaker
Sean Spellecy
Founder/CEO
NewDawn Security

Mr. Spellecy, a former school administrator, saw firsthand that parents and schools were unprepared for preventing the tragedies schools face daily. He resigned from education in 2008 to concentrate on developing a program to enhance school safety and security. The 26 Safe School Standards were created, and implementation began in 2012.
