About the webinar
The extremist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba was battle hardened in the mountains of Afghanistan and Kashmir. In November of 2007 the group leapt to international prominence with a brazen assault on the Indian city of Mumbai. Part of the reconnaissance for this assault was performed by American citizen and Chicago-area resident, David Headley. This case-study-based presentation will examine the formation and motivation of the group, and analyze the threat posed by such transnational terrorist organizations. It includes a specific review and analysis of the 2007 attacks, and examines the resulting implications for international security, counterterrorism, and law-enforcement professionals.
