Overview
The security officer has the responsibility to provide a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and hospital personnel. This position will be for night shift 1800-0600 rotating 12hour on duty shifts.

Responsibilities
- Control of motorized traffic.
- Respond to alarm calls and calls for assistance.
- Control of pedestrian traffic at main entrances and triage.
- Respond to alarm calls and calls for emergency or other assistance.
Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years experience Security, Law Enforcement and/or Military experience.
- Valid Class E Driver’s License and be insurable under the hospitals current insurance carrier requirement
- Officer must successfully complete a psychological exam within the first 90 days of employment
- Current Class A (unarmed) Private Security License issued by POLU Required Upon Hire
- Must meet the ongoing competency of Heartsaver CPR AED/RQI Responder
Starting Pay
Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $16.23, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
