Greater Kansas City Chapter Scholarships

The Kansas City Chapter presents the following scholarships throughout the year to recognizes various individuals who have made an impact in the field of security.

Certification Accelerator Scholarship

APPLICATION FORM

The ASIS Foundation provides a gift of one free certification exam--either CPP, PSP, PCI or APP--to every ASIS chapter in the world. Each chapter must select one deserving winner and then submit the scholarship winner's information to the Foundation. 

The Greater Kansas City Chapter Certification Accelerator Scholarship is open to all members in good standing.  The scholarship will include one Certification Voucher.  The Certification Voucher enables the scholarship winner to go online at no cost and apply for the certification exam. If selected, the scholarship winner will have two years to take the certification test.  The Foundation Certification Voucher does not guarantee that the scholarship winner is eligible to take the test.  Test applicants must apply, be qualified, and if deemed eligible, sit for the exam.

Career Development Scholarships

- 6 Scholarships
- Choice of CPP or PSP online review course, PCI reference set, or Protection of Assets bundle (for APP Certification)
- Covers certification exam fees for choice of CPP, PCI, PSP, or APP
- Open to ASIS members in good standing

Road to Certification Scholarship in honor of Allan J. Cross

- 20 Scholarships
- Choice of CPP or PSP online review course, PCI reference set, or Protection of Assets bundle (for APP certification)
- Open to ASIS members in good standing

Law Enforcement Liaison Certification Scholarships

- 2 Scholarships for active-duty law enforcement
- Choice of CPP or PSP online review course, PCI reference set, or Protection of Assets bundle (for APP certification)
- Covers certification exam fees for choice of CPP, PCI, PSP, or APP
- Open to ASIS members in good standing
- Administered in partnership with the ASIS Law Enforcement Liaison Council

MLC Military Certification Scholarships

- 4 scholarships for active-duty military
- Choice of CPP or PSP online review course, PCI reference set, or Protection of Assets bundle (for APP certification)
- Covers certification exam fees for choice of CPP, PCI, PSP, or APP
- Open to ASIS members in good standing
- Administered in partnership with the ASIS Military Liaison Council

IFPO Certified Protection Officer (CPO) Scholarships  Submit Application

- 5 scholarships + 2 scholarships for Spanish language materials
- Correspondence course & exams
- Open to all security professionals
- Scholarships provided by the International Foundation for Protection Officers (IFPO)

IFPO Certified in Security Supervision and Management (CSSM) Scholarships   Submit Application

- 5 scholarships + 2 scholarships for Spanish language materials
- Correspondence course & exams
- Open to all security professionals
- Scholarships provided by the International Foundation for Protection Officers (IFPO)
