SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Security & Safety Director assures the safety and security of all Hospital patients, visitors, employees and their assets by supervising the Security & Safety department.

EXPERIENCE: One to two years security experience, previous supervisory experience preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Good oral and written communication skills, computer knowledge and typing, filing, working knowledge of CCTV and Access control systems.

OTHER: Proficient planning skills. Ability to make independent judgments and focus on detail. Investigative skills in reporting problems i.e., drug shortage, accidents, etc. Excellent customer service skills.

LICENSE/CERT: Required: Hazardous Material Awareness and Operations Level, ICS 100, 200, 700, NIMS 800, Taser, PPCT

EDUCATION: Required: Technical/Certificate - Law Enforcement
